Well done on your ad in The Sunday Times today. The violence together with shortage of medical supplies is really concerning. Hope the run off does not escalate the violence.

Hi Dumbudzo
Don't worry the list is being improved and new details are being added as information is gathered. Only a few names are needed to start and one name leads to the other.

I was watching PressTV yesterday evening minister Not-So-Bright Matonga was trying to sell the idea that we cannot be bullied by states like USA simply because they (USA) are killing people in Afghan,Iraq etc. Does Matonga seriously want us to believe that if there was no USA in this world ZANUPF wouldn't be butchering and maiming innocent civillians in this dreadful post-election period? Does he also want us to believe the story about some of the ballots having had to be airlifted? In my own view, airlifting something actually reduces the lead time since air travel is much quicker.33 days?? Agh shame on you and ZEC! Tell us the 3 MDC guys you said are in the board of the ZEC - and we will give you thousands more efficient people who are NOT in that lame electoral body. And by the way, ZANUPF is no longer the RULING party - the Herald and ZBC might be helped in this regard because it seems they are the only ones resistant to change.
Admin:
Yes, Bright is a bit dim!
During the TV coverage of the election results he was asked by a reporter what he thought about MDC releasing their own results and he said (more or less): "It's wrong to release these results, they are actually giving people hope!"
The whole world knows that the election was rigged in favour of Muagbe and yet he still lost! Zanu are the minority and they need to start thinking about the survival of their party in a post Mugabe Zimbabwe.

Will it be OK to use your pieces of information for a blog campain in my country? I have created this blog above, and I have created a groupe at "Facebook" called: "Mr. Mbeki help the people of Zimbabwe."
I try to get the latest news about Zimbabwe out here and in Ghana whose president is leader of "The African Union".
What's done in Zimbabwe right now is "Crime against Humanity"
Kind regards to all of you,
Carsten

how can thabo mbeki let us down like he is doing?why is he blocking the un envoy from coming?he says theres no crisis in zimbabwe?WHAT PLANET IS HE LIVING ON???planet suck up to mugabe obviously!the two of them are as thick as thieves if you ask me.after all it has now emerged that armscor sa was involved in the chinese weapons ship deal.we need to find a resolution to all these problems we are facing, question is what is going to be the catalyst that will give us a positive reaction?to the men & women in zim i say dont you think its better to die on your feet than to live on your knees?there is strength in numbers,we should unite & act.
Admin:
Hi Hazvi
Its hard to determine why Mbeki has taken the approach he has. He could be playing ‘good cop’ to the UK and USA's ‘bad cop’. He might believe that Zanu in opposition will go back to the bush and fight, as Mugabe has frequently threatened and that this should be avoided at all costs. Perhaps it’s his desire to diminish Western influence in Africa. Wherever the truth lies there does appear to be a connection between Mbeki and Mugabe that goes beyond normal diplomacy. Add China to the equation and it seems that there is a definite Mbeki agenda to keeping Mugabe in power.
It now appears inevitable that there will be a run-off for the presidential election and that will be the time when Zimbabweans will have to show tremendous courage and go and vote again. The alternative is another 5 years of Mugabe! As you say, there is strength in numbers and people must unite and work together to first make change happen and secondly to re-build our beautiful Zimbabwe.
|
Hennie:
Dear Hazi
I thing Mbeki suffer from some sort of syndrome because he can not even see the crisis in South Africa, he disbanned elite investigation units because according their is no crisis with regards crime and corruption but daily they are getting exposed. Daily people get killed during robberies, old people get tortured and brutally murdered, hourly women and children get raped, his police commissioner get suspended pending investigations of corruption and other serious crimes, a metro pilce chief arrested for drunk and driving and other criminal activities. A judge get arrested for drunk and driving, ministers get exposed for corruption and still he say theis is no real threat because of criminal activities. His involvement with Mugabe should be scritinized and we will all be surprised. He jump of his plane and kiss Mugabe and hold his hand to Mugabe's palace and then went back to his plane. What does he know what is actually happening if he do not go into the troubled areas??
MDC members, be strong, the end is in sight.

Today the herald reports that zim should have a gov of national unity headed by mubage ? the same paper reports that there is so much political tension to have a re run .the herald as we all know is zpf mouth piece.
on the other pager bright matongo (ex deputy mi nister) says there is no need for UN as there is no crisis in Zim.
ZPF we ask you to make up your mind is there crisis or not.
clearly we are now seeing that the pressure is mounting for these croonies.the fact that they are thinking about GNU and giving every excuse for refusing a re run says a lot.
Now what we need to do is to keep up the pressure. I tell you every small things count, lets keep up the pressure .
The saga for the Ship has agin shown quite clearly that zpf is loosing friends very quickly

YOUR WEBSITE ROCKS!!!!i especially enjoyed the humour, comic relief, right??!!took my mind off stressing about what i will eat tomorrow.I(a 27 year old university graduate) have been reduced to a hand to mouth existence.is this what our parents, uncles, aunts etc fought for?so that we could live a life much worse than they did?so we could be tortured & tormented by knowing all the things we could have & yet the very same things are kept out of our grasp?I sometimes wonder what is wrong with us as a society, how come we dont have any heroes?in a situation like ours why cant we have strong personalities rising to the fore & giving a LOUD voice to our protests & suffering?but hey even if we cant speak out, somebody up there is looking out for us,at least the Chinese arms ship has not docked yet and now the worlds eyes are on it
chrispen:
i'm sure the world will see this and condemn it .Mugabe thinks he gonna get away with this No i do't think so .He will pay a prize for all wrong tactics

All the same, let's keep praying people, let's pray for God's protection and help.

Zimbabweans lets remain strong and keep doing all we can to bring mugabe down.Thank you to all other nationalities for giving us support. The whole thing is an embarrassment and you can see even zpf accepts that they lost the elections but want to hold on to power.
We hear there were miscalculation with the voting so why are we having a recount .Since when has adding and counting been the same.
To think that it took over 4 days to get the parliamentary resultS and we were being told how metericulas this was only to be told that they were miscalculation leading to recounting is absolutely taking us for idoits.
Big up to the women who went and caused disturbance at the embassy in uk.

Hey Martin, you're right on the mark. Zanu must think we're idiots to believe this nonsense. But its Zanu who are the idiots. This is the same bunch of morons who thought they could extract diesel from rocks!

Your website is not known by those concerned aboutthe Zimbabwe situation, please advertise in the private press or on SABC, French channel. BBC etc or even yahoo, for the world to view these gruesome, cruel pictures of these dictators, some people do not believe whatthey hear.
Admin:
Hi Angelo
Thanks for visiting. We do advertise but its expensive and budgets are limited. We are seeing a steady increase in traffic and of course we'd like to see that grow.
You can help! If you are able please use material from the resources pages in any way you can. You can use images and graphics in blogs, reference the website, send e-cards or just grab images and circulate to friends.
We need to keep the subject of Zimbabwe in the media and to keep pressing for change and freedom.

What u are telling is rubbish the only truth about zimbabwe is that Britain and America does not want the Implimantation of BEE and they are using their puppet Morgan to fullfill what Smith did not finish stop making something out of nothing the only country needs democracy is South Africa and Botswana.
Hennie:
You should wake up and get out of your cocon and get up to reality. Have you been to Zim. It is people like you who are making democracy stink. BEE is the worst thing that ever happened to democracy. Shows you what you know about democracy. Ten to one you are also one of those that has bought your education for a pint of shake shake and two bop. Your ignorance is still going to cost you dearly in life if you do not wake up.

Stay strong. Keep fighting to oust Mugabe. Let democracy rule. The world is watching (and wishing our governments would do more).
Peace

Hi Jim
Thanks for your encouragement. As Zimbabweans we will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER give up our struggle for freedom. Bob has lost and he must go.

Hennie:
Hi Jim
This is great words and I agree it is time for the dictator to realise he is becoming a nuisance and should go. He is one of those people that should be in jail because outside jail he is a threat, even to himself

Guys, i can't stand this. Just how patient are we? And where is Madhuku? I want to get into the street right now and demand my vote. I stood in the queue from 3am and i can't allow some stpud fellow to just think this is a joke. Why can't somebody call for a protest. I cannot stand this. we the people must demand our power back, and if yu have ideas, pliz get in touch with. I will march alone to the Command Centre if no body is preparing to take the lead.
Admin:
Hello Silent
Every Zimbabwean knows the delay by the ZEC in releasing the results stinks! Of course they are rigging the election.
But to protest now is to play into Mugabe's hands. He is just itching to declare a state of emergency and continue his rule by decree indefinitely.
When the time comes to march you will know. In the meantime we urge everyone to be patient and to wait.

Thanks for the site....
You have a "broken link" on your zim_links page...
the link for:
Movement for Democratic Change
News, events and commentary from the MDC in Zimbabwe is http://www.mdczw.org/
and should be:
http://www.mdc.zw.org/
(by missing the "dot" between mdc and zw the link fails)
Admin:
Thanks for pointing out the bad link. Its fixed.
